This gem of a coffee: its complexity takes you through a tasting journey. Its balance and cleanliness means that one aspect is never too overpowering. This coffee aint your average cup a joe.
Finca Los Pinos has been owned since 2008 by Mr Jorge Antonio Arboleda. It has 8 hectares in total, 4 of which are planted with coffee, more specifically with Caturra Chriroso. This name hails from the tree's crispy looking leaves as a result of the shade casted by the numerous banana, plantain & fruit trees scattered across the farm. Furthermore, this lot was entered into the National competition: "Colombia land of diversity", which pits over 1,100 individual lots against each other - hailing from the 12 different coffee states. The 5 competition categories were Acidity, Body, Softness, Balance and Exoticness. Not only did it come first on Exotic-ness, but it also surpassed all the others in Softness and came 2nd in body! We think this award winning coffee is worth every cent, but we will let you make your own mind up!
